There’s nothing more satisfying than watching a student discover they can say what they mean—clearly, confidently, and in their own voice. That moment of connection and clarity is what drives my work.

As a writing teacher, I bring together deep experience, rigorous training, and an adaptive, relational approach. I hold three California Clear teaching credentials, am a National Board Certified Teacher, and hold a Master’s Degree in Education. I’ve taught in a wide range of schools and communities and stay current with best practices and tools to make writing more accessible—and more enjoyable—for every learner.

I design instruction that is responsive:

Responsive to what’s appropriate and achievable in the time allotted.
